Starting It All Over Again In 2006

For the 2005 Best of Blogs we did not get an early start here at The Best of Blogs. It was not until December that I began to gear up and get all of the things in line that were needed. I hope that I can state with confidence that I am a person that can learn from my mistakes, of course that doesn’t explain why I have four children 6 years old and younger.

We are going to take all of last year’s mistakes, the mistakes of 2004, and wipe our slate clean for The Best of Blogs 2006. Now will be the time to get started so when December rolls around we are not scrambling at the last minute to get sponsors, voting code, rule changes and judges. This year we intend to add some podcasting into the mix and perhaps interview some of the nominees!

First of all, if you were a winner in 2005, you are not eligible for 2006, so why don’t you take the time and become a judge for 2006? We would love to have some experts in the blogging field join us for all the fun. Yes, I still mandate that everyone have fun.

If you are a blog company or have anything to do with blogging, podcasting, vlogging or the like and would like to be a sponsor for 2006, I would love to hear from you. We are merely trying to setoff the costs associated with the event, and we may be able to have better more elaborate prizes this year.
